11th Annual External Audit Report 2024-2025
The 11th Annual External Audit of Child Development Nepal for fiscal year 2081/82 (B.S.) provides an independent evaluation of the organization’s financial records, internal controls, and compliance practices. The audit was conducted to verify whether financial transactions totaling NPR 26,32,729.17 were recorded accurately, utilized responsibly, and aligned with approved program goals and budgets.
The audit confirms that project funds have been used primarily for program implementation, administrative support, and activities aimed at child welfare and community development. Financial documentation and record-keeping were found to be generally sound, though the audit identifies a few areas requiring strengthened internal controls, timely reporting, and improved documentation procedures.
Recommendations have been provided to enhance budget monitoring, ensure consistent compliance with donor and statutory requirements, and strengthen financial governance systems. These improvements will support Child Development Nepal’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and continued service to children and communities throughout Nepal.”
