Project Final Evaluation visit from SWC team to Sarlahi for the project "EDUCATION & LIVELIHOOD for DIGNIFIED LIFE" implemented by Child Development Nepal
The final evaluation team of the Education for Livelihood for Dignified Life Project (2020–2024) visited Sarlahi district to assess project achievements and meet key stakeholders. The team included Ghanshyam Khatiwada (Team Leader), CA Anjila Mailani (Finance Expert), and Aide et Action Country Representative Mahesh Bakhrel. During the visit, the delegation met the Mayor of Barahathawa Municipality, Ms. Kalpana Kumari Katuwal, and the Chairperson of Bishnu Rural Municipality, Mr. Jawahar Lal Yadav, along with head teachers, school beneficiaries, and students. The team also interacted with ILEAD graduate Dilip Kumar Kushwaha to understand the impact of livelihood training. Additionally, the evaluators visited the office of Child Development Nepal (CDN), Sarlahi, to review project implementation. Overall, the visit highlighted strong collaboration among municipalities, schools, and partners, and affirmed the project’s positive contribution to improving education and livelihood opportunities in the community.
