Empowering Children, Youth and Families: CDN Annual Impact Summary

Child Development Nepal (CDN), Barahathawa-18, Sarlahi, continued its commitment to improving education, livelihood and community wellbeing throughout fiscal year 2080/081. Through the Education & Livelihood for Dignified Life Project, CDN supported three municipalities with activities such as teacher training, mothers’ group mobilization, book corners, learning materials, ECCD strengthening, youth skill development, extra-curricular events, and community awareness programs. The organization also provided emergency relief to fire-affected families and engaged with local governments to enhance school governance and sustainability. Despite challenges like early marriage, child labor and limited resources, CDN achieved significant progress by strengthening coordination, building capacities and empowering children, youth, women and communities. Overall, CDN successfully implemented all planned activities and utilized project funds effectively, ensuring impactful and measurable outcomes for marginalized communities.
